Isaac Ibikunle

Commissioner

Isaac is a multi-jurisdictional legal practitioner and scholar with a focus on international
arbitration, cross-border litigation and international law.
He represents clients in commercial and investment disputes in courts and tribunals,
including under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL Rules. He publishes in international
peer-reviewed journals, and reviews for others, including recently the Harvard
International Law Journal.
He is qualified to practice in Nigeria, qualified for admission at the New York Bar and
presently works in Paris with an international law firm— he previously worked with
another international law firm in Africa. He holds multiple degrees which include two
LL.M. from Harvard Law School and University of Lagos, and an LL.B. from Obafemi
Awolowo University.
Besides law, Isaac is interested in politics. He bikes, plays pingpong and vibes to music at
his leisure.
